Empowering Survivors to Thrive

Mental Health
Growing up with narcissistic or self-centered parents can be a challenging and painful experience, shaping one’s sense of self and relationships… The 12-week psychotherapy group, Healing and Thriving, offers a supportive space for adult children of narcissistic parents to explore their past, heal from emotional wounds, and cultivate resilience.

Participants engage in psychoeducation sessions to understand the impact of their upbringing on their beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. Through group discussions, they connect with others who share similar experiences, validating their feelings of confusion, anger, and hurt. Experiential exercises provide opportunities to practice setting boundaries, building self-compassion, and enhancing emotional regulation skills.

The culmination of the course involves creating a personalized growth plan tailored to each participant’s needs and goals. This plan serves as a roadmap for moving forward with greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being. By reclaiming their agency and exploring new ways of relating to themselves and others, participants can break free from the cycle of emotional neglect and manipulation they may have endured in childhood.

Healing and Thriving is not just about surviving – it’s about thriving. It offers a pathway to empowerment, self-discovery, and personal growth for individuals who seek healing from the wounds inflicted by narcissistic parents.
