Healing & Thriving: Empowering Adult Children

Empowering group therapy for adult children of narcissistic parents

    Mental Health
Growing up with narcissistic or self-centered parents can leave deep emotional scars. The 12-week group therapy program “Healing and Thriving: Empowering Adult Children of Narcissistic Parents” offers a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing for individuals who have experienced the unique challenges of such upbringing.

Participants in this program engage in a variety of activities, including psychoeducation, group discussions, and experiential exercises, all aimed at exploring the impact of their early experiences on their present lives. One of the principal focuses is on developing healthy boundaries, a vital skill for those who have grown up in environments where their boundaries were not respected.

Above all, the program emphasizes building self-compassion and resilience. Participants learn to validate their own experiences, cultivate self-care practices, and develop a sense of inner strength in the face of past trauma.

A consequential aspect of the program is the creation of a personalized growth plan. This plan serves as a roadmap for participants to continue their journey of healing and personal development beyond the program. It empowers them to move forward with greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being.

“Healing and Thriving” provides a safe and supportive space for adult children of narcissistic parents to heal old wounds, build new strengths, and ultimately thrive in their lives.

Participants engage in psychoeducation sessions to understand the impact of their upbringing on their beliefs, behaviors, and emotions.
